Free Meal hosts the Community Resource Fair & BBQ every summer. Over 40-community service agencies, civic & counties administrators, and the displaced community of metro Eureka are in attendance. Many of our homeless clientele are not aware of the various support services available in the region or they are unable to commute to these service agencies. The event provides a means for the homeless community to directly interface with a wide variety of community outreach sources. The BBQ features grilled tri-tip, spare ribs, and chicken kabobs, which are cooked by Eureka Police Officers! The luncheon also features potato salad, baked potatoes, broccoli & cheese, coleslaw, and root beer floats!
