Over the past several decades, St. Vincent de Paul’s Dining Facility has developed collaborative partnerships. Through these collaborations, Free Meal is able to offer many additional outreach services besides their free luncheon service, including shower facilities, personal mail distribution, hygiene kits, clothing, footwear, winter wear, ponchos, blankets, primary healthcare, housing assistance, personal IDs, and morning coffee.
Betty Chinn Shower Facility, St. Joseph Community Resource Center, Open Door Mobile Medical, Uplift Outreach, Eureka Police Department’s CSET Unit, Mayor Kim Bergel, City Manager Miles Slattery, and Coats for the Coldhave ongoing representation at our Dining Facility property site.
Additionally, several private local businesses have provided longtime support in maintaining our facility operations. Many of the services are provided either as goodwill or at a greatly discounted expense! Free Meal is truly blessed by their business supporters – Reyes Coca Cola Beverages, Costco, WinCo Foods, Redwood Plumbing, Duncan Electric, Fleck & Perry Plumbing, O&M Construction, Pierson Building Center, Allen Commercial Appliance, Well Done Gutters, The Walden Project, Blue Sky Roofing, Humboldt Creamery, Eureka Woman’s Club, WinCo Foods, Costco, and Mission Linen.
Lastly, we have been blessed by the ongoing support, both monetarily and voluntarily, by the Catholic Churches in northern Humboldt County - St. Bernard / St. Joseph Parish, Sacred Heart Parish, and St. Mary's Parish.
